What is fixed code remote controller ?

The fixed code remote controller mainly adopts the coding chip of 2260 / 2262 / 2264. Before using, it is necessary to solder the coding pin of the remote control IC, which is what we often call the fixed code remote control. There are 6000 combinations of fixed code remote control data. The matching receiver's decoding chips are 2270 / 2272 / 2294 as well. One receiver can be equipped with hundreds of wireless remote controllers. It is mostly used in the environment that requires a receiver to match multiple transmitters, such as gate control, rolling shutter control, lighting control, etc. It it is a remote controller with a wide range of applications at present.

What is learning code remote control ?

The learning code remote control mainly uses the learning code chip 1527 / 2240 / 101. Before using, the remote control needs to learn the code from the host. It is not necessary to open the shell to encode again. The data of the learning code remote control has one million combinations, so the repetition rate is very low, and security are relatively good. The matched receiving chip is decoded by MCU, with the corresponding decoding program already preset. The receiver can be equipped with 16 wireless remote controllers. Therefore, it is mostly used in the environment that requires a receiver to match multiple transmitters, such as garage door remote control, alarm remote control, rolling shutter control, lighting control, smart home, etc.

The difference between fixed code remote control and learning code remote control are mainly as below:

1. Number of data combinations:

The data of the learning code remote control has one million combinations, and the data of the fixed code remote control has 6000 combinations.

2. Repetition rate and the security:

Compared with learning code and rolling code, fixed code has higher repetition rate, and its encryption is also relatively poor.

3. Receiving chip configuration:

The receiving chip matched with learning code remote controller is MCU decoding, a receiver can generally be equipped with 16 wireless remote controllers; but the receiving and decoding chips matched with fixed code remote controller are 2270 / 2272 / 2294, and a receiver can be equipped with dozens or even hundreds of remote controllers.
