On Sep 1st, 2020, China Telecom, one of China's biggest mobile carriers, joined the Global XR Content Telecom Alliance which includes South Korean cellular carrier LG U+, Japan's KDDI, Bell Canada, US chipmaker Qualcomm, as well as Canadian VR firm Felix & Paul Studios and France's Atlas V.
