DreamLNK’s Ultra-low Power FSK Transceiver Module DL-A7149-S is Officially Released
Publish Time: 2024-10-18 Origin: DreamLNK
Recently, DreamLNK has released its brand-new Wireless Module DL-A7149-S, it is a FSK Transceiver Module base on AMICCOM A7149 RF chip, which delivers an ultra-low power consumption of 1.8mA (receiving current, AGC Off), and -120dBm high receiving sensitivity, will be ideal for battery-powered long-distance wireless transmission applications. Welcome to inquire!
The DL-A7149-S module's RF core AMICCOM A7149 follows the low receive current of former AMICCOM A7139. The operation mode of A7149 is the same as A7139, both of which are operated by external MCU through SPI interface to operate RF mode and access the built-in FIFO. However, the receiving current of A7139 is much lower, inheriting the excellent RF performance of A7139, the working current of A7149 is only half of A7139.
The modulation mode can be selected as FSK or GFSK. And it has two versions: 433Mhz/470MHz, 868MHz/915MHz. And here below are its main advantages:
1. Built in RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) can help detecting clean transmission channels, which can make it work stably in various environments.
2. With AFC (Automatic Frequency Compensation) function, which can solve the sensitivity degradation caused by RF frequency offset.
3. Ultra Long Range: it can achieve 1KM communication range in an open space (without interference).
4. High Receiving Sensitivity: -120dBm@2Kbps, IFBW:50khz
5. Compact Size: ultra small packaging surface mount design: 12.5*12mm (only half the size of a coin).
6. Ultra-low power consumption with only 1.8mA at full receiving state, best for battery powered applications
7. Wake on Radio (WOR): switching time between standby and receiving state can be set to reduce power consumption
At present, the power consumption of FSK transceiver chips in 433/868/915Mhz IoT applications is around 10mA, which cannot meet the requirements of most systems in industrial control and data acquisition industries, as most of them use battery power and require 3-5 years of use.
But this DL-A7149-S RF module can achieve excellent power planning through software algorithm optimization, by optimizing the receiving working current to 1.8mA, extremely suitable for battery powered applications that require a long-life cycle, such as AMR (heat meters, gas meters, electricity meter, etc.), Remote Anti-theft Devices, Industrial Control, Smart Buildings, Energy Management, Smart Homes, Smart Security, Smart Agriculture, etc.
